CULTURE AND ETHICS OF THE MANAGER IN THE MANAGEMENT OF THE ORGANIZATION

Abstract

The article considers the role of culture and ethics in the management of the organization. The essence of the concept of managerial culture, definition of structural elements of the general and professional culture of the head is investigated. The connection between the culture of the leader and the corporate culture of the organization is investigated. The objective and subjective nature of the management culture is clarified. The main structural elements of management culture are characterized. Peculiarities of formation of managerial culture of future Ukrainian leaders of the new generation are considered.

The personal culture of the leader, his general culture is an important characteristic of his personal development. Its components are as follows: intellectual culture, worldview culture, speech culture, moral culture, aesthetic culture, physical culture, political culture, legal culture and environmental culture, communication culture, culture of feelings or emotional culture and other subsystems of culture, which due to their system of interconnections ties, interdependencies and interactions form a systemic integrity.

The professional culture of the leader is an integral characteristic of him as a specialist and determines the level of his qualifications and authority in the professional environment and the level of mastery of the philosophy of personnel management, psychology and management technology. The structure of professional culture includes the following components: high level of professional knowledge and skills; understanding the development trends of their professional sphere; value perception of the profession; observance of professional ethics; the desire to realize their potential; constant professional self-improvement.

The objective nature of management culture is determined by the fact that both the phenomenon of management and the culture of its implementation are subject to certain laws, aimed at ensuring a high level of efficiency of joint activities of relevant people, groups, organizations and other social systems and depend on the objectives. The subjective nature of the culture of management should be considered because the management itself is always carried out by a specific person of a leader.

The complex and ambiguous essence of culture and its role in public life requires, first, the consideration of culture not only as a kind of phenomenon that not only expresses the result of human spiritual activity, but also forms its spiritual world. Secondly, it is important to distinguish between such different, albeit interrelated, varieties and manifestations of personal culture, professional culture, and corporate culture. Third, there are differences in the field of manifestation and application of culture. It is no coincidence that such varieties as political culture, managerial culture, pedagogical culture, production culture, etc. are determined. And each of them can have its own structure. Thus, management culture contains such subsystems as moral culture, psychological culture, communicative.
