APPROACHES TO DIAGNOSTICS PROFESSIONAL BURNOUT OF MANAGERS
Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of approaches to the diagnosis of professional burnout of managers. The essence of professional burnout is considered and the definition of professional burnout of a manager is formulated. In our opinion, professional burnout of managers is a destructive process of mental, mental and physical exhaustion of the individual, which occurs as a result of long-term negative impact of stressors and leads to a decrease in the efficiency of performance of managerial functions.
The methods of diagnosing the level of professional burnout of employees in various fields of activity were studied and the possibility of their application to assess the level of professional burnout of managers was determined.
The most widespread and often used in global and domestic practice is the method of assessing professional burnout, which was proposed by scientists С. Maslach and S. Jackson. This technique is based on the definition of professional burnout in terms of three components: "emotional burnout (exhaustion)", "depersonalization", "reduction of personal achievements".
The technique of V.V. Boyko is also common for the assessment of emotional burnout, which involves assessment on 12 scales in accordance with three phases of the development of burnout: the "Tension" phase, the "Resistance" phase, and the "Exhaustion" phase.
The article examines various methods of diagnosing professional burnout. The essence of diagnosis of the level of professional burnout of personnel managers, diagnosis of professional burnout of civil servants of the legislative body, research on the phenomenon of professional burnout in humanitarian organizations, diagnosis of professional burnout of entrepreneurs was considered.
Ways to improve methods of diagnosing professional burnout of managers are outlined. It is proposed to supplement the diagnosis of professional burnout of managers with test methods for diagnosing the psychological profile of an effective manager. This will make it possible to qualitatively and comprehensively analyze what factors influence the development of professional burnout of managers and to formulate effective proposals and measures for the prevention and countermeasures of their professional burnout
