Abstract

The article is devoted to the consideration of methodical approaches to assessing the quality and efficiency of business processes. The importance of business process management in the organization is considered. An analysis of theoretical approaches to the interpretation of the essence and content of the concept of "business process" was carried out, which made it possible to determine the key features of business processes, which are: purposefulness, orientation to the formation of consumer value, the presence of "inputs" and "outputs", interconnectedness, sequence processes and activities. A generalization of two directions of scientific approaches, which are the client-oriented approach and the structural one, has been carried out.

The main purpose of diagnostics of business processes in the organization is to determine the level of their compliance with target or regulatory parameters or requirements of internal and external consumers, the need to achieve planned results, ensuring minimal deviation of actual indicators of efficiency and quality of processes to the required or planned ones. The obtained results of the process of analysis and assessment of business processes create prerequisites for the formation of conclusions regarding the improvement of the efficiency of business processes.

Methodical approaches to monitoring and diagnostics of business processes are carried out using various methods, tools, indicators and criteria. However, the BPM concept provides for the justification of the choice of priority business processes, the optimization of which will maximize the overall effectiveness of the activity.

Attention is focused on the expediency of using indicators of fragmentation, which are universal and reflect the organizational complexity of business processes. These indicators are determined by the number and equality of management subjects, which, in our opinion, significantly affects the effectiveness, difficulty, quality, cost, and duration of the organization's key business processes.

The expediency of using indicators of the duration of the process, which at the present stage are one of the key parameters of influence on the competitiveness of the enterprise, is substantiated. Indicators characterizing the product, process, and level of consumer satisfaction were determined. The advantages of existing business process evaluation models were detailed and the feasibility of using a comprehensive evaluation model based on determining the level of maturity, quality of resource provision, and optimization of the time characteristics of the main and auxiliary business processes was substantiated. It has been proven that the proposed evaluation model will ensure comprehensiveness and contribute to the growth of the level of efficiency of business processes
