Abstract

The article examines the modern determinants of accelerating the development of the digital economy in the context of Ukraine's European integration processes. It was determined that the growing importance of digital technologies in the modern world poses the task of revealing the factors that determine the success of the digital transformation of the economic system, especially in the context of interaction with European structures. The impact of such determinants as innovativeness, education, legal framework, technological infrastructure and economic policy on the acceleration of digital development is considered. Examples of countries that are already successfully integrated into the European digital space are analyzed, in particular, the application of the most effective measures to ensure the achievement of a successful digital transformation. The influence of the regulatory mechanisms and standards of the European Union on the digital development of candidate countries for EU membership is studied. It is determined to what extent adaptation to EU standards can stimulate investments in digital technologies and facilitate access to the common European market for digital products and services. The social aspects of digital development are considered, in particular, taking into account the needs of the population and ensuring the inclusion of all layers of society in the digital space. The importance of developing digital literacy and ensuring free access to digital resources for all population groups has been proven. On the basis of the conducted research, recommendations were formulated for countries aspiring to European integration to create an effective digital development strategy, in particular by increasing investments in education and science, forming a favorable innovation environment, as well as active implementation of European digital standards. Factors that determine the effectiveness of digital development in the context of European integration have been studied, contributing to the formation of strategies for Ukraine in order to ensure its effective integration into the European digital space.

It has been proven that one of the key defining features of successful digital development is the presence of an innovative environment and a high level of scientific potential. The creation of incentives for the expansion of scientific research and the development of innovative technologies determines the country's competitiveness on the international market. That is why it is an important task to ensure effective cooperation between government institutions, business and the academic community for the formation of an effective innovation ecosystem that comprehensively contributes to the effective development of digital technologies.

An effective legal framework and regulatory policy are also important for digital transformation, which play an important role in the process of forming a stable and transparent digital environment. At the same time, the adaptation of Ukrainian legislation to European standards makes it possible to ensure compliance of legal norms with general European standards and contributes to the improvement of the investment climate. It is also important to consider regulatory aspects related to consumer protection, data privacy and cyber security, which are necessary to maintain a high level of trust in digital technologies. Effective economic policy and developed technological infrastructure are also key criteria for ensuring sustainable growth of the digital economy.
