LOGISTICS PROBLEMS OF THE PRESENT

Abstract

The article examines the relevance of logistics during the war, substantiates the peculiarities of logistics problems of today. The relevance of the logistics system under the influence of crisis factors is investigated.

Over the past few years, the logistics world has been experiencing major changes. It all started long before the war in Ukraine.

Due to the economic war between the US and China in recent years, as well as the pandemic, the market has begun to accelerate localization, i.e., moving supply chains as close as possible to the country of production or sale of its own product.

Although the goal has remained the same since the first transportation, even at the most primitive level in ancient times, to deliver goods from point A to point B on time, quickly, safely and efficiently, the methods and approaches have become radically different. With the onset of the pandemic, which has created new challenges for any business, any business has experienced radical changes in a relatively short time. The container crisis, chip shortages, closed ports - all of this is happening right now.

The scientific and practical tasks of logistics are related to the development of new strategies and methods of supply chain management, improvement of warehousing technologies, ensuring the quality of transportation services and the development of information technology.
