STATE AND PROSPECTS OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF WOMEN'S LEADERSHIP IN UKRAINE

Abstract

The article provides statistical data on the size of average monthly wages by gender and types of economic activity based on gender-sensitive data, the data show that men receive higher wages. The percentage ratio reflects the participation of women in physical entrepreneurship in Ukraine, indicating a certain progress in this area, the data are close to gender equality. It was found out that among managers, by gender, among all active enterprises in the regions of Ukraine, dominant positions are held by men. The presence of initiatives and programs to support women in business, develop their leadership skills and promote professional growth is also noted.

The general conclusion of the article is that the problem of female leadership remains relevant, and efforts in the direction of creating conditions for the development of female leadership and ensuring equal opportunities for both genders are an important task for modern society.
