Abstract

The article examines the issue of spending enterprises' funds on personnel. It was found that the efficiency of the enterprise's activity depends on 70% of the level of qualification of employees and 30% on investments in production. The importance and economic efficiency of investing funds of enterprises in professional development and development of employees is substantiated. It has been established that domestic enterprises do not spend enough money on training and development of employees, and there are significant differences in the costs of large, medium and small business entities. It was found that the largest personnel costs are incurred by domestic entities of large entrepreneurship, and the smallest - by entities of small entrepreneurship. The factors that prevent the increase of staff costs of domestic enterprises have been identified: lack of funds at domestic enterprises; inadequate awareness by managers of the role of professional training in ensuring the effective operation of the enterprise; high prices for educational services and their constant growth; lack of incentives for employers to conduct continuous professional training of employees; underdevelopment of the corporate training system at domestic enterprises; inability to competently invest funds in personnel. An increase in personnel costs at domestic enterprises and the basis of using a rational and well-thought-out approach is proposed.
