SECURITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM OF MACHINE-BUILDING ENTERPRISES FOR SUSTAINABLE TERRITORIAL DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

The enterprise management system is complex and requires coordinated approaches to its regulation. Under martial law conditions, security becomes the primary element of management. The aim of the study is to examine the security management system of machine-building enterprises in the context of ensuring sustainable community development. The article explores the enterprise security management system in the context of ensuring sustainable territorial development. A critical analysis of the content of scientific studies has revealed that challenges related to the sustainable development of communities, the enhancement of social well-being, and the decline in business activity negatively impact the realization of sustainable development goals. During the martial law period in Ukraine, these processes have deepened and intensified, necessitating further investigation. The study establishes that the security management system forms the foundation for achieving sustainable territorial development. Such a system should be implemented in three key dimensions: through the perspectives of community authorities, enterprises, and the public sector. The choice of the economic sector's development within a community depends on the territorial development strategy and serves as a driving force for all processes.

The paper proposes the formation of an enterprise security management system using the example of machine-building enterprises. It is assumed that the machinery sector can contribute to sustainable development and the well-being of the community. Security, under modern conditions, is a priority for the region's and community's strategy. Six levels are identified, the implementation of which will contribute to achieving the goals.
