Abstract

The article explores the essence of financial security for businesses within an unstable economic environment, particularly during wartime, and analyzes the main threats to the resilience of enterprises. The research aims to identify key factors influencing the financial security of businesses and to develop practical recommendations for risk management. Special attention is given to such aspects as maintaining liquidity, optimizing expenses, and protecting assets, which are essential for sustaining business stability in crisis conditions.

It is emphasized that the instability of a business’s financial condition during war has a direct impact on the economy overall, as well as on the population's standard of living. In this context, financial security for businesses is regarded as a multi-component system designed to protect enterprises from financial risks. Major risks threatening financial security include unpredictable expenses, regulatory changes, financial fraud, market fluctuations, technological risks, competition, and insufficient financial literacy.

A systematic approach to managing financial security, particularly through cost management, budgeting, and diagnosing financial conditions, is an important tool for adapting to threats. Effective mechanisms to ensure financial security include risk forecasting, crisis planning, income diversification, and attracting international assistance. The recommendations for risk management focus on preserving liquidity through reserves, managing accounts payable and receivable, restructuring debt, and optimizing expenses.

The study highlights the importance of adaptive management in wartime and crisis conditions to maintain financial stability for businesses. Adaptive strategies, such as income diversification, cost optimization, and partnerships with local suppliers, are crucial for ensuring business continuity and stability.
