DEVELOPMENT OF LOGISTIC SECURITY IN UKRAINE

Abstract

The article deals with increasing the level of logistics in Ukraine. The unsatisfactory level of utilization of logistical potential in the national economy has been revealed, the logistic activity in Ukraine has been evaluated. The value of the Logistics Efficiency Index showed that it is below average in Ukraine. This showed the existence of a number of problems in the field of logistics in the national economy. Particularly problematic areas in logistics for Ukraine are infrastructure and customs procedures, a somewhat better position for timely delivery and cargo tracking. The main problems in Ukraine in the logistics sector are the lack of adequate transport infrastructure, the shortage of hub logistics centers, the low efficiency of the use of fixed assets, the poor level of the communication system, the lack of relationships between enterprises and logistics firms, the lack of manufacturing and manufacturing companies, legislative non-regulation, shortage of highly qualified specialists, etc. In order to solve the existing problems in the logistics sector of the national economy, attention should be paid to the intensification of the development of innovative technologies, the study and implementation of foreign experience in logistics activities, the construction of logistics centers and infrastructure development throughout the country, the training of highly qualified personnel.
