These are, in particular, theories that formed the foundation of modern management, representatives of which were Frederick Taylor (1856-19150), David McClelland (1927-1998), Abraham Maslow (1908-1970), Henri Fayol (1841-1925), and others. In this publication, special attention is paid to such an important issue as the very essence of the category of management, which unites the entire set of complex organized systems and is considered from the scientific definition as an effective process of actions of closely related relevant elements that cannot exist separately without one is planning, organization, motivation and control. As for the named functions, they cover a whole system of methods and means that ensure the implementation of the action plan of the production team. This system provides for the real state of financial, material and labor resources, as well as orientations, goals and ideas of activity, which must be concisely, but perfectly and clearly reflected in business planning.
