Abstract

The article identifies and systematizes the factors influencing the state and development of the hotel and restaurant industry at the regional level. A detailed analysis of modern factors of such influence is carried out.

The analysis of modern factors influencing the state and development of the hotel and restaurant industry at the regional level showed that in most cases the influence of such factors is restraining. For example, the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, the increase in the number of natural and man-made disasters, the spread of terrorism and hostilities, etc. are decisive. All these factors hinder the development of hotel and restaurant industry in the regions of the country.

The main problems of development of modern hotel and restaurant industry at the regional level are identified, which include: low level of implementation of industry innovations in the region, low attractiveness and low return on investment in the industry and more. It is proved that such innovations, in modern conditions of development of hotel and restaurant economy, can become glamping, which is not very common in the regions of the country. Glemping is a glamorous campsite, or luxury camping, which has a comfortable hotel conditions of a high level and at the same time preserves the feeling of living alone with nature, without the need to artificially separate from it to preserve the natural environment.

The specific factors of influence on the development of hotel and restaurant industry at the regional level are systematized, which include: security, innovation-infrastructure, intellectual-personnel, political-legal.
