REGIONAL MARKET OF HOTEL AND RESTAURANT BUSINESS ENTERPRISES
Abstract
The article considers the regional market of hotel and restaurant business on the example of Volyn region, identifies the main indicators by which they are evaluated, outlines the features that determine the peculiarities of the regional market, provides an assessment of hotels by stardom.
The modern market of hotel and restaurant business enterprises establishes tough competitive conditions, which require domestic enterprises to form high-quality services. At the same time, scientists and practitioners pay attention to the fact that today in Ukraine hotel and restaurant services lag far behind world standards.
The purpose of the article is to study the regional markets of hotel and restaurant business.
293 hotels are registered in Volyn region. Noble Boutique Hotel, Rhombus Hotel and Turiyske Podvir'ya are the most popular hotels in the Volyn region. In addition, Patio di Fiori, Kolobok and Sribni Leleky Hotel & Spa are also popular in the Volyn region.
Among the restaurants most popular in the Volyn region are: Felicita, Korona Vytautas restaurant, Cafe de Vino, Bravy Schweik, Kurin restaurant, Classic, Chevermeto, Patio Di Fiori, Skybr Family, Meat & Green, Karabas Barabas, Obolon Beer Club, Mr. Benedict Cafe, Mojo Family, 4Rest, Beer Club Maidan, Golden Ducat, France.ua, ethno-restaurant Panich, Restaurant Mashevckiy Bor, Coffe Room, Khinkalnya, Cafe Alice, etc.
The regional market of hotel and restaurant business enterprises is characterized by such basic features as: specialization of hotel and restaurant enterprises; creation and growth of hotel and restaurant chains; active use of information technologies, development of e-commerce in the hospitality industry; environmental protection policy. It is the regional hotel and restaurant business that is characterized by significant investments in energy-saving technologies and services.
