CHANGE MANAGEMENT AS AN UNKNOWN COMPONENT OF THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF THE ORGANIZATION
Abstract
occurring in the economic, technological, and social environments. This is especially important for sustaining competitive advantage. The core idea of change management lies in recognizing the need for change, defining clear goals and strategies, managing risks effectively, and maintaining proper communication with all stakeholders. This process promotes the sustainable development of an organization by improving production efficiency, reducing costs, enhancing product quality, and increasing consumer satisfaction.
The change management process includes several key stages that ensure effective organizational transformation: analyzing the organization’s need for change; planning for change; implementing change; and evaluating the effectiveness of change. Tools of change management (analysis of external and internal factors, assessing the impacts of changes, developing strategies, and planning their implementation) allow organizations to implement changes effectively.
However, this implementation may face several challenges, such as insufficient staff training, lack of leadership support, employee resistance, and others. To overcome these challenges, it is important to create favorable conditions, including developing strategies that account for risks and impacts on employees and the environment.
Therefore, change management should be viewed as an important tool for achieving sustainable organizational development. Organizations that successfully implement changes and have flexible strategies are better able to adapt to market changes and cooperate effectively with other organizations, making them more competitive and stable in the long term, which is the foundation of sustainable development.
